Job Description Summary

The Head of Distribution US & Canada - WFG is responsible for executing on the strategy for World Financial Group (WFG) distribution, independent agent/producer optimization, client solutions, and risk management functions, in the US and Canada, supporting over 75,000 agents. Works closely with the President, WFG & SVP Transamerica as a member of the leadership team to impact the footprint, profitability, and growth of WFG.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership to coordinate the sale, education, and distribution of protection products through brokerage general agents and independent wholesale/marketing organizations.Develop client solutions providing consistency in service levels and support levels across product lines for partners and customers.Lead the team in implementing industry leading sales strategies and programs. Create tactical plans to achieve annual profit and revenue goals and achieve key performance metrics for targeted segments.Provide leadership to the FAST team aimed at increasing and retaining the number of new, net, and total licenses through agent engagement activities and incentive programs. Optimize relationships to leverage success and make decisions on initiatives and the allocation of resources based on growth strategies.Promote effectiveness and quality in sales initiatives, client support services and relationship building across multiple product lines.Work across functional departments to coordinate the sales effort (e.g. marketing, operations, training programs, internal sales, compliance, pricing, service, etc.)Serve as a catalyst for change to implement strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience15 years of industry experience, including leadership rolesIn-depth knowledge of the brokerage industry and wholesale/marketing organizationsDemonstrated experience in growing retail distribution across multiple product lines, focus on Life & Annuity.Strong communication and presentation skills to deliver important messages to key internal and external stakeholders, and diverse groupsRelationship building skills and the ability to influence outcomes

Life licenseFINRA Series 7 & 63Knowledge of Transamerica productsExperience working with World Financial Group, Inc.

**Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules and other compensation posting laws.  It is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.**

 

Compensation:

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $200,000 insert - $250,000 annually.  This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2 and other applicable local regulations.

 

Bonus Eligibility:

This position is also typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion.
