Head of Finance and Accounting - Hybrid / Southwest area of Boston, MA

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are assisting our client in their search for an experienced finance and accounting professional to step into a leadership role for a dynamic organization in the Greater Boston area on an interim basis. The position involves assessing and improving current financial processes, implementing new procedures, and actively managing day-to-day accounting operations. The role requires a hands-on approach and collaboration with the leadership team to drive growth and long-term success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner with the leadership team to provide financial guidance and strategic support.Review, redesign, and implement financial processes and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.Oversee financial reporting in compliance with GAAP standards.Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost management aligned with strategic goals.Handle month-end close activities, including general ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations.Ensure accurate cash flow management and treasury operations.Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS
