Head of Global Agency Accounts (maternity cover)
About the role
The Head of Global Agency Accounts leads a team managing global travel management companies responsible for strategy and performance delivery. This is a 10-month fixed term opportunity reporting to the Director of Global Sales.
With experience in the travel industry and knowledge of airline distribution channels, you’ll lead your team of 4 direct reports, and c.12 indirect reports to achieve our revenue targets. You’ll demonstrate positive outcomes to negotiating large complex agreements and serve as a key member of the Global Sales Leadership team.
Accountabilities
Lead a high performing selling team to achieve our revenue objectives, including recruitment, training, coaching and developmentExecute a successful strategy that delivers against the broader commercial strategy and revenue plan, while balancing the trade-offs between revenue, cost, distribution goals, and customer/partner relationsEnsure revenue and share delivery for this portfolio through key performance metricsOversee negotiations with assigned accounts and ensure a high level of fulfilment and acceptable margin delivery for all negotiated agreementsRepresentation of BA/IB in the market-place, ensuring our brands are positioned and represented accordinglyAd hoc work as needed to pursue new initiatives and provide relevant cover for other team tasksAbout you
Experience negotiation large, complex agreements with third party organisationsExperience managing a sales team or similar team of commercial professionalsProven ability to achieve business objectives by leading and motivating a large geographically dispersed team in hybrid/remote working environmentRelevant Commercial leadership experience with the airline/travel industryKnowledge of airline distribution channelsWhat we offer:
