Head of Global Competency Centre
Job Description

We are looking for “Head – Global Competency Centre” who will be responsible for managing the Digital and Automation and Performance Management Support to Business Segments and functions within Danfoss Group. 
This is a leadership position, managing the Performance Management Support vertical and providing the strategic support to various business segments and functions within the group in Process Automations, Data Analytics, Smart Reporting & Visualization and Performance Management Solutions such as Dashboards, Project Management support, Process Automation with ERP environment. This role will also require quickly adopting and onboarding the new technologies & tools for data management, thereby facilitating the business leaders in driving key strategies and objectives of their respective businesses.
This position will be part of the Indian Shared Service Centre (INSSC) and will report to Head–India Shared Service Centre and support Danfoss globally across time zones. Position offers a platform to show case strong leadership skills by managing a pool of highly talented and technology savvy team. Stake-holder management abilities, data interpretation skills and providing insightful information to the leadership team to take right decisions and develop appropriate functional/business solutions, is the key expectation from this role.

Job Responsibilities Provide the automation solutions across the business segments using the latest tools and techniques relevant to the business requirements in complaint with IT policies Adapt structured approach and methodologies in coordination with the business in driving the projects Clear understanding of the business requirements and recommendation of appropriate solutions Ability to lead project independently, document the project plan/milestones/project activities performed Drive the projects in clear alignment with stakeholders to their satisfaction Ability to plan, prioritize and deliver the projects “On time” & with high quality Be proactive in managing the projects and mitigating risks in a timely manner by coordinating with relevant stakeholders Track the progress of all projects in a systematic manner and report the same to the management team Ability to report the benefit realization of projects in terms of cost savings & revenue recognition Guide, coach and mentor the technical team to deliver effective services to the stakeholders  Be proactive in adopting to new tools approved by Danfoss Help & promote thoughtful leadership & culture that drives top performance and high engagement Background & Skills Graduation in Engineerign with specialization in Data Science /Computer Science/Chartered Accountant/Degree in Applied Business Analytics/Data Analytics,  8-10 years of experience of handling automation projects & should have 5 years of experience into Leadership/People Manager role Strong experience in Excel VB macro, VB scripting, SAP scripting   Should have exposure in MS Office tools, MS Access, SQL, SAP-analytics & cloud, Power BI using DAX, Power App, Power Automate, Celonis & Phyton, Azure  Fair Knowledge of AI & ML to perform Predictive & Regression analysis to identify the variance and mitigate it. Should possess hands on work experience in automation, dashboard creation & development of new tools reporting, analytics, and data management Experience in Project management, agile way of working, Sprint planning & refinement  Detail orientated and passion for quality of data  Should be able to “Question data” and bring in more analytics in the report  Strong Business Partnering; energetic and should possess excellent communication skills Should be able to handle conflict management  Disciplined approach to work and “Lead by Example” Danfoss – Engineering Tomorrow
