The Opportunity We’re looking for a HR Leader (Head of HR India) to join our team in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will support our team in our Capability and Innovation Center (CIC) in Bangalore with strategic HR leadership and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience in a technology company supporting growing teams, new leadership, recruiting top talent and experience enabling teams and leaders in a matrix organization. This HR leader will report into the Chief People Officer and the Managing Director, India and be part of the global HR team. On a local basis, they will be responsible for leading all aspects of HR, and ensuring the Global HR Strategy is implemented effectively in India while working collaboratively with North America and EMEA colleagues. The HR leader will work closely with global COEs to support and champion India specific needs. What You'll Do As a member of the India Leadership Team, act as primary HR support to the country leadership team on issues regarding organization structure, compensation, succession, employe engagement, retention, and leadership planning. Lead, coach, and counsel Sr. leaders, key global stakeholders, and diverse cohorts to ensure support within the nuances of the business. Utilizes experience in matrix organizations to effectively build strong relationships globally and influence leadership at all levels. Hire, retain and upgrade skills of existing employees to make the organization future ready. Utilizes strategies in Talent Branding and Total Rewards to engage and motivate candidates as well as current employees. Lead, coach, and develop the group of HR team members (HR Business Partners, HR Operations and Talent Acquisition/Recruitment) articulating priorities and ensuring they are up for the journey. Develop the HR business partner structure in India – focusing on strategic work and operational support between local leadership and global functional leaders. Ensure talent acquisition team is hiring the right talent needed in the business in a timely and efficient manner. To coach and advise management to ensure the organization structure; roles within the business and talent are optimal for driving business success. Continue to embed cultures through a strong focus on the key values, so that these are embedded into habitual and visible leadership behavior. Foster an engaging culture and create a sense of empowerment and engagement in the workforce. Lead leadership development initiatives, in conjunction with Talent COE support, to further develop leaders in line with our leadership model and Matrix org structure. Ensure legal compliance and provide guidance in local employment laws, processes, and policies. Work with the global HR team and HR COE’s on design, development and integration of HR processes, practices, programs, and initiatives. Improve employee engagement and satisfaction and create a positive workplace environment. Facility management. What You'll Bring 10+ years of overall HR leadership experience with several years of experience working for a global organization; specifically in a Global Capability Center (GCC) with collaborative relationships in the US / EMEA. Preferred experience where the HQ’s is based in the US. Proven experience in scaling India operations within the context of a global technology focused organization. Exposure across the full array of HR functions with practical knowledge in the assessment, implementation, and use of HR systems and tools. Successful track record of setting up and scaling HR policies, processes, and systems. Proven experience supporting the integration of cultures and HR practices following an acquisition. Experience leading / guiding Employee Resource Groups and POSH Committees in India Ability to build good rapport and collaborative working relationships with all levels of staff. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is highly preferred.
