Head of Impact
Summary

This role champions Chobani’s purpose and values by promoting Chobani’s brand story, launching and sustaining initiatives, and engaging in partnerships to advance Chobani’s impact mission. It is a high-visibility role both internal and external to the company. This position is responsible for building relationships and connecting Chobani with key partners in the impact space that further one or more of Chobani’s impact pillars. The individual will also be responsible for amplifying impact-based and purpose-focused messages at events, engagements, and speaking opportunities (both internal and external). The successful candidate will have exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills and will be a leader in promoting Chobani’s community-oriented culture. The successful candidate is flexible, proactive, and engaged.  

Responsibilities

Impact Initiatives:

Refine and focus Chobani’s impact pillars   Develop a strategy for identifying stakeholder groups to engage for purposes of advancing impact initiatives  Launch, build, and sustain initiatives with key external stakeholder groups that support one or more of Chobani’s impact pillars  Refine strategy for community investment in our target communities  Collaborate with plant leadership to design and execute processes for reviewing community investment opportunities 
 

Communication and Brand Ambassadorship:

Collaborate with Internal Communications team to energize Chobani culture and company community   Represent Chobani as brand ambassador, by participating in and speaking at community events and conferences, making media appearances, and engaging in other public-facing opportunities to promote Chobani’s community and other impact initiatives  Attend major events with Chobani leadership to build and cultivate relationships and follow-up on potential partnership opportunities 
 

Partnerships:

Develop framework/strategy for retaining and refining existing partnerships   Identify NGO partners to assist with execution of Chobani impact initiatives  Manage, sustain, and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and partners, internally and externally   Collaborate with NPD team to identify, grow, and sustain partnerships for partnership batch products  Attend relevant conferences to build connections with existing and potential stakeholders and partners  
 

 
 

Requirements Minimum 10 years of experience in community development, health, wellness, communications, or program coordination MBA or JD preferred  Experience with Microsoft Windows and MAC environments and good working knowledge of applications in those systems Forward thinking with the ability to recommend, influence and implement organizational change and continuous innovation Creative and entrepreneurial; eager to think outside the box and design non-traditional approaches to problems; problem-solver who feels unrestrained by usual processes, procedures, or pathways for achieving certain outcomes
