Head Of Installation
As the Head of Installation, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our commercial kitchen equipment installation projects. You will lead a team of installers (Union & Non-Union), coordinate project schedules, and ensure that installations are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities: + Lead and manage a team of installation technicians, providing guidance and support throughout projects. + Coordinate installation schedules, ensuring timely and efficient project execution. + Conduct on-site assessments to determine site readiness, access, equipment placement, requirements, and installation procedures. + Oversee the assembly and installation of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, refrigeration units, ventilation systems, and more. + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the installation process. + Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues that may arise, ensuring customer satisfaction. + Maintain accurate records of project progress, expenses, and inventory. + Collaborate with sales and project support teams to meet customer needs and expectations. + Train and mentor installation team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. + Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization. Qualifications: + Proven experience in commercial kitchen equipment installation, or comparable industry with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. + Strong leadership and team management skills. + Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with a good understanding of construction documents. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. + Experience with computers & other electronic office/business equipment. + Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. + Required to possess or be willing to obtain OSHA 62 Supervisor Site Safety Certification and other needed industry certifications. Primary work schedule is: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm. This will be a position that will require significant office time but will also require time in the field. Overtime, out-of-town travel and weekend work will be required as needed.
