The role
As a Head of International Product Sales, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. In the Training Business Unit, we have traditionally had services focus for what we provide to our customers in both the Resilience and Defences markets and have now consciously evolved to place greater emphasis on product and how these can support outstanding learning outcomes. Our product offering is continuing to grow, and we now need to look at how we execute sales across multi domain and internationally to grow our footprint.


Day-to-day, you’ll look at the suite of training products available and then in turn seek to identify and then prosecute opportunities to sell the products into current and adjacent markets.

 

Develop a strong knowledge of the current training product suite and provide customer and market feedback in order to help shape their development. Be able to converse confidently on the capabilities of the products Generating and executing a go to market plan across key geographies and customer types Generating a pre-prospecting, prospecting and pipeline for products which underpin the 5-year plan for the Business Unit Accountable for implementing effective reporting and governance processes in line with the prospects being generated ensuring that the gate process is always followed  Working collaboratively across Future Business and the BU to initiate and develop strong customer relationships (existing and new) to identify opportunities where our products will add value to training outcomes

 

This role is full time and can be delivered from the South region of the UK alongside home working arrangements.

 

Essential experience of the Head of International Product Sales - Training:

Defence experience and existing network and preferably some experience in training Significant relevant experience within a large, complex, global organisation Excellent communication skills and the ability to flex style to engage and influence people from all levels  Experience in a sales role where they have had demonstrable impact on revenue/pipeline  Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat and other office productivity tools, with aptitude to dynamically learn new software and systems
