Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to shape and drive our global strategy for top-tier client accounts. Your focus will be on achieving growth, maximizing profitability, and enhancing customer satisfaction on a global scale. You will lead and coordinate sales activities, oversee current projects, and proactively manage the resolution of specific customer challenges. Additionally, you will leverage your market expertise by providing valuable insights into price developments and market trends, contributing to our division strategic decision-making.This position is preferably located either in Miami; US, Oslo; Norway or Helsinki, Finland. The work model for the role is: #LI-hybridThis role is contributing to the Marine & Ports Division.You will be mainly accountable for:• Leading the Key Account Management process for the Marine & Ports Division. o Ensuring alignment of process and stakeholders in the Division. o Ensuring periodical internal reviews are conducted (Account Planning). o Ensuring periodical customer meetings (innovation, partners) is arranged.• Acting as Key Account Manager for a few of the Divisions largest customers, in close collaboration with the Division and Business Line Management Teams. o Actively developing relationship, identifying new opportunities, maintaining client relationship, and aligning client needs with Marine & Ports offerings. o Ensuring high client satisfaction level to ensure retention, long-term loyalty, and the potential for repeat business. o Ensuring consistent and growing profit margins. Negotiating terms, setting competitive pricing strategies, and ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality. o Defining long-term plans that align with the client's goals and Marine & Ports objectives. Crafting strategies to strengthen the relationship. o Defining the scope of work and setting clear milestones for success.

Qualifications for the role

Several years’ experience of leading key accounts and ensuring client satisfaction. Capability to handle negotiations effectively. Experience in strategic account and sales planning, Salesforce experience also appreciated. Marine & Ports product knowledge is a significant plus. Ability to anticipate client needs and market trends. Degree in Electrical Engineering / Automation / Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or other relevant area. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in English language.
