The Head of Sales and Services will be responsible for defining and overseeing the global sales strategy to achieve the divisional growth objectives. The holder of this position will drive sustainable growth in revenue and profitability and develop effective sales leadership in all sales channels.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks:
Develop a clear vision and strategy for all sales and service activitiesOversee revenue forecasting activities and set performance goals accordinglyTake ownership and accountability for all revenue targets and sales projectionsEnsure the sales and service organization has the capability of exceeding revenue targets and projectionsAttract, develop and retain talent within the organizationOversee complex sales negotiations with very large, high profile customersRepresent the company in business development activitiesReport to Head of DivisionQualification & Skills:
Master Degree in relevant field, preferably with an MBADemonstrate outstanding leadership with a minimum of 10 years proven experience in a sales environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExpertise in selling strategies and methodologies, strategic planning and executionExcellent communication and networking skills at all levels of the organization internally and externallyStrategic selling knowledge: corporate positioning, high level relationship managementContracting knowledge: RFP monitoring, proposal preparation, contract award and executionVery driven and results focusedStrong team player and relationship builderFluent in EnglishAbout Sartorius
