Head of Marketing & Media - Stedi

Head of Marketing

Reporting to the General Manager, the Head of Marketing & Media will play the lead role in the planning and execution of the strategic marketing & media plan while leading the day-to-day management and execution of all marketing & media activities across local and global markets. This role will work closely with all internal and external teams to develop and deliver the 3-year strategic plan to provide STEDI brand with the future direction and evolution of the business across existing markets.

This role will oversee experienced and specialist media, content, graphic design & packaging teams to execute the brand across all customer facing channels. The role will identify and optimise activities across the department internally to improve the output with a strong focus on planning and prioritisation to deliver strategic outcomes.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of strategic thinking & planning and will be able to demonstrate an ability to plan, develop and execute marketing promotions and messaging through many different customer touchpoints including web, email marketing, marketing automation, social and above the line media.

This role will be ideal for candidate who is passionate about the outdoors and has proven experience with managing content and creative teams. Based in our Truganina head office the role be immersed in our day-to-day operations within a fun, vibrant, busy office environment. The STEDI business has a young dynamic culture that lives the brand and is highly passionate about everything we do.

Key Responsibilities include:

Developing the STEDI brand evolution and plan including brand health metrics.Planning and management of the STEDI media budget and the media agency relationship.Planning and management of selling channels activations (retail, trade, export).Planning & execution of brand campaigns & key seasonal events.Developing and executing social media strategies globally.Trade show & local area marketing planning and execution for national store network.Developing & executing media brand strategy & content.Manage key agency/vendor relationships.Leading an experienced team of specialist content, design, and media skill sets.

Core competencies:

Strong work ethic and attention to detail.Excellent understanding of the 4WD & outdoor landscape.Excellent understanding of paid media strategy, planning and execution across all channels.Strong problem solving/decision making capability.Be highly visible, live the Company values and lead by example.Ability to effectively manage and plan in a busy environment.Integrity & honesty.

Role Requirements:

5 - 7 years generalist or specialist Marketing and/or Media experience.Day-to-day Vendor/Agency relationship management.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Campaign and Channel Management experience.Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to inspire a cross-functional marketing department.Strong analytical skills, with a history of using data to drive marketing strategies and decision-making.Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. (Desirable).
