Job Summary
The Head of Materials Management is responsible for the overall management of all aspects of materials and supply chain operations at the manufacturing site in San Luis Potosí. This position will be responsible for ensuring that the site's material requirements are met on time and within budget by implementing efficient procurement strategies and effective inventory control systems. The role also involves overseeing the site's logistics processes to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Additionally, this individual will manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other external partners to optimize costs and streamline operations. Overall, the Head of Materials Management plays a critical role in supporting the site's production goals through efficient materials management practices.
Responsibilities
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent field required. Master’s degree preferred.8+ years of experience in supply chain management, operations or related field required.Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chains within pharmaceutical industry.Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, budgeting, planning and S&OP processes.Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Global experience of supply chain processes are preferredAbility to lead and motivate team members towards common goals.Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision making.Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills.Possible travel 20-50%, domestic and internationally
