Principal responsibilities

Formulate effective Merchant Business strategies and actions to improve profitabilityIdentify pioneer potential new categories of merchant acceptance on top of the traditional merchant categoriesStay on top of market and industry development and drive innovation to support new payment productsAgree commercial targets with strategic partners and manage the corresponding commercial engagement to ensure financial target are metManage the commercial engagement with different business segments in the Bank to ensure alignment on business objectiveDevelop partnership strategy that could support both the Acquiring and Issuing businessBuild and manage the relationship with merchants and payment network with a view to build stronger relationship and partnershipEnsure the engagement with merchant and business partners are in conformance with the Bank’s Third party Risk Management frameworkDrive a culture of high performance and empowerment through effective people management activities. Foster a diverse, inclusive and open environment and drive teamwork and collaboration within and outside of the team.Ensure robust risk assessment, escalation, governance, and compliance aligned with regulatory and internal policies.
