This opportunity will remain online based on business needs which may be before or after the specified date._ **Head of Network Operations Center** **Role Description** We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Network Operations Center (NOC) to lead our dedicated team of network professionals. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the overall performance and availability of our network infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service delivery to our customers **In this role, you'll:** + **Leadership and Management:** + Lead and develop a high-performing team of NOC engineers and technicians; foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence within the NOC. + Oversee the daily operations of the NOC, ensuring adherence to established processes and procedures, manage team schedules and performance reviews + **Network Operations and Monitoring:** + Ensure 24/7 monitoring of network infrastructure and equipment; oversee incident management, including rapid response, troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution of network/service related issues. + Implement proactive measures to prevent network outages and performance degradation; maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, configurations. + **Performance Optimization and Security:** + Analyze network performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement; iImplement strategies to optimize network performance, capacity, and reliability; + Stay abreast of emerging network technologies and security threats. + **Collaboration and Communication:** + Collaborate effectively with other crossfunctional teams including engineering, network engineering, Field Ops and customer support teams, to ensure seamless service delivery. + Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including Executive management levels, customers, and vendors, regarding network performance and incidents. + Provide regular reports and updates on NOC activities, performance metrics, and key initiatives to Executive levels. + **Vendor Management:** + Drive performance management and track daily vendor’s execution; establish performance metrics and service level agreements (SLAs) for vendors + Identify areas for improvement in vendor’s performance, and address performance issues proactively; conduct regular vendor business reviews and provide feedback. + Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors; act as a liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders. + Leverage vendor strategic management framework and Identify/assess potential risks associated with vendor relationships. **At a minimum we'd like you to have:** + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. + 10 years of experience in an operational role, including 3 years in a network operations center environment, with at least 3 years in a people management role. + Experience with network monitoring tools and incident management systems (Genetec, Netguardian, Netcracker, Service Now, Thousand Eyes, Genesys, etc.). + Ability to travel up to 50% of the time domestically and internationally. **It's preferred if you have:** + Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. + 8 years of experience working in a network operations center environment. + Experience working with networking protocols, technologies, and architectures (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.). + Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or JNCIE + Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $208,000- $286,000+ bonus + cash award + benefits.
