About this opportunity:
The Strategic Sales Consultant in Telecommunications Technology is responsible for identifying and developing strategic business opportunities within the telecom sector. This role involves shaping customer visions and strategies to align with our advanced telecommunications solutions, providing exceptional value and thought leadership, and supporting Key Account Management (KAM) or Customer Unit (CU) organizations to convert opportunities into successful deals.

 

What you will do:

Identify strategic leads and opportunities in the telecommunications technology domain to drive growth.Influence and shape customer vision and strategy, aligning them with our innovative telecom solutions.Deliver exceptional value to customers by demonstrating thought leadership and expertise in telecommunications technology.Support the KAM or CU organizations by proactively steering opportunities toward successful deal closure.Contribute to specific engagements, potentially taking on roles such as Account Customer Representative (ACR) or Customer Solution Representative (CSR).Develop and implement domain-specific sales initiatives tailored to the telecommunications technology market.


Required experience and skills:

Proven experience in customer expansion and virtual customer engagement within the telecommunications sector.Strong skills in financial modeling and insight selling specific to telecommunications technology.Demonstrated executive leadership and contract negotiation capabilities in the telecom industry.Experience in business partnering and commercial management within telecommunications.Excellent sales presentation skills and competitor analysis abilities in the telecom market.Ability to adapt to different situations with situational agility and storytelling expertise.Strong consultative selling, sense-making, and servant leadership skills.Native/ business level of Japanese is required.


Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in telecommunications technology sales roles.Advanced degree in Telecommunications, Business Administration, or a related field.Certification in telecommunications sales or business management.Familiarity with emerging telecom technologies and trends, such as 5G, IoT, and cloud communications.


Working Conditions:

Hybrid work style with at least 3 days per week comes to the office or occasional travel to client sites and industry events.Standard office hours, with flexibility to accommodate client schedules and time zones.
