Job Description

Manages platform delivery within the Takeda portfolio and is responsible for the day-to-day development and alignment of delivery to the strategic vision.

How you will contribute:
* Direct the effort of staff engineers/developers in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of platforms and their components
* Authorize and oversee platform design, plan projects, establish and monitor progress, and ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget, and properly integrated
* Direct the development and configuration of platforms from conceptualization through stabilization
* Oversee effort in testing, debugging, and documenting platforms
* Direct effort to plan all activities associated with implementation and maintenance of platforms
* Direct effort to provide support to production support service requests and perform routine maintenance and support activities
* Direct effort, use established requirements management methodology and tools, to identify, verify and document business, functional and technical requirements to support development of technology and/or business-driven technology solutions
* Direct effort to work with IT Architects to define business solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategies and priorities, as well as the target benefits expected
* Oversee effort to identify new hardware/software technologies to fit specialized business needs and configurations

* Utilizes Agile methodologies to execute projects efficiently, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
* Implements DevOps practices to enhance collaboration and streamline production.
* Manages cloud environments using Microsoft Azure, optimizing key components for business needs.
* Configures and optimizes web applications and databases on Amazon Web Services.
* Develops and implements API solutions to enhance platform functionality and integration.
* Ensures compliance with governance regulations and guidelines in project execution.
* Integrates multiple IT platforms to achieve compatibility and optimal performance.
* Optimizes system architecture to support efficient business processes and data management.
* Recognized for thought leadership, providing guidance and innovative solutions in IT management.
* Develops and delivers influential communications, effectively presenting complex technical information.
* Leads and mentors teams, enhancing their skills and aligning their efforts with strategic goals.

You will shape corporate policies, provide guidance to directors and senior managers, and hold a recognized influential position. U.S. Base Salary Range:

205,100.00 - 322,300.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. 

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
