Who knows where our shared journey will take you? **Position Overview:** Commercial Finance Americas (COF AM) is a dynamic financial services organization within Siemens Financial Services (SFS). Over the next 3-5 years we aim to grow our business by 60% and drive strategic change through the development of new products, business models and digitalization. This includes a strong US focus and ongoing expansions into Canada and Mexico. COF AM is looking for a dynamic leader to join the existing leadership team to take on the role as Head of Operations, reporting to the CFO. As a newly created role, this role will be a key member of the leadership team responsible for establishing and driving a strategic plan supporting the growth, transformation, and productivity aspiration of the business. The role will be responsible for day-to-day operations inclusive of system set-up of new deals, documentation, booking and funding, cash application, and inbound customer servicing. In addition to the day-to-day operations, this role will lead the functions of operational finance, PMO, process development (LEAN blackbelt) and special projects. With this management structure the role will be positioned to develop and drive the strategic agenda as it relates to automation and productivity utilizing innovation tools such as AI, RPA and so forth. **This position requires 2-3 days in office located in Malvern, PA.** **Responsibilities:** + Leadership and Strategy + Role model commitment to cost efficiency, automation, and profitability. + Develop and implement the operations strategic agenda to ensure highly efficient processes with a customer focused mindset + Balance investment in technology and process solutions with personnel investment to establish a complete “factory” or process cost. + Lead with a growth mindset stressing a focus on change management + Create and drive a process improvement agenda based on LEAN principles + Foster a healthy culture + Stakeholder Management + Understand the overarching strategy and how Operations will support it. + Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, accounting, IT, legal, compliance, and risk. + Work closely with the local leadership team to align operational goals with business objectives. + Establish strategic communication plan to ensure global stakeholders are informed or participating in business decisions as needed. + Operational Excellence + Develop and maintain efficient processes that allow the business to grow with minimal investment in personnel. + Conduct process mapping and drive change to achieve balanced shared target outcomes. + Ensure that operations are customer-centric and continuously improve the customer experience. + Partnership with IT is critical. Establish collaborative approach to manage opportunities collectively. + Oversee PMO to ensuring projects are executed on-time and on-budget + Drive continued focus on regulatory and compliance topics **Your success will be grounded in having these qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration or Financial Engineering + 15+ years in Financial Services Operations and Project Management. + 10+ years successfully leading teams and developing improvement strategy + Strong knowledge and understanding of lease and lending lifecycle. This would include understanding accounting, taxes, regulatory, and compliance requirements. + Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship now or in the future **Preferred Qualifications:** + Graduate degree i.e., Master of Business Administration + Experience working in Canadian and Mexican markets. + Experience in problem solving topics through the process lens using LEAN tools and methods. + Proven ability to assess current state of business and assess risk and opportunities addressing them on a proactive basis. + Leads with a growth mindset, setting a tone that problem solving should start with YES + Experience working in highly matrixed organization and successful track record in navigating critical business partner relationships. + Demonstrated experience with large change management programs. + Executive presence and demonstrated ability to engage in an influential manner with other senior executives. + Ability to navigate ambiguous situations, manage through conflict and drive to consensus. + Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
