Our client in the Automotive Component Manufacturing industry, based in Port Elizabeth, is currently looking to employ an experienced Head of Operations.
About the role: We are looking for a proactive and experienced Head of Operations to oversee our manufacturing operations. As the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies, managing day-to-day activities, optimizing processes, and ensuring efficiency and effectiveness throughout the manufacturing department.


Requirements: Relevant Degree / Diploma in Engineering coupled with an MBA will be highly advantageous. GCC will be preferred. Minimum 5 years at Senior Plant Management / Operations Management level gained in an automotive manufacturing environment essential. Duties and responsibilities: Overseeing full Production facility - including three diverse processes requiring a strong Technical / Engineering background to maximise OEE and ultimately customer satisfaction to OEM's locally & globally Will oversee Engineering, Quality & Manufacturing departments and be a critical member of the EXCO team Developing and implementing operational procedures Overseeing day-to-day activities Optimizing processes to ensure efficiency Managing budgets and resources effectively Leading and motivating a team of operations staff If you have a proven track record in Operations Management and are looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
