Head of Pricing and Planning, Sports Team
Amazon Advertising offers advertisers a rich array of media solutions now inclusive of the NFL on Prime Video. Our team is looking for a leader who understands the sports landscape and how to financially manage and plan in line with the marketplace and company goals. This individual will be responsible for building the media plan and mix strategy for sports sales through both Upfront and Scatter marketplaces to deliver on goals working together with other yield management teams. They will lead all system management and hiring for the new team to help support this business function.

Key job responsibilities
This individual will be responsible for building the media plan and mix strategy for sports sales through both Upfront and Scatter marketplaces to hit our goals. They will be an important part of decision making for the business as they will manage our responsibilities from a bigger picture with sales executives asks by client to ensure delivery of quota and delivery of all ad sales deal points. This role will collaborate with Finance, Ad product, Ad ops and Sales to control inventory flow, ad formats, assignment and pricing in line with the company’s financial goals. Additionally, this lead will gain weekly alignment on estimates with research and insights teams to manage company liability. Responsible for building a data base and RC that will lead to insights on how to evolve the business and GTM strategy through the term. Leader to designate market rates for sponsorships and managing sell-thru levels with the needs of the business. Manage and decision on internal or external systems to help generate contracts, proposals, and posts to all customers, including Halo plans across DSP and STV buys. Cross collaborate with yield management teams on all ads offerings that will be included in TNF proposals.

About the team
Amazon Advertising is standing up a sports sales team in the US who will be overseeing our biggest step into sports to date which is our exclusive broadcast rights for TNF starting in 2022 through an 11 year term. It is an exciting time to be part of Amazon Ads as we look to establish a new way to transact around sports and streaming and how we partner with our customers.
