This is a group product manager position with direct reports. The group product manager will lead the transformation of Ford Credit's customer data landscape by architecting a next-generation platform that unifies dynamic identity, customer 360, and profile management capabilities to power hyper-personalized customer experiences, unlock new revenue streams, and position Ford Credit as an industry leader in data-driven financial services. Note this person will need to work EST hours and travel to the Dearborn, MI area about one-week 6-10 times/year. What you'll do... You will be responsible and accountable for defining the product strategy and delivery of our next generation innovative Customer Platform. You will lead a team of Product Managers and work with cross-functional teams and business teams in a matrixed environment whilst owning the future vision and roadmap of your area. You will be expected to: Define and articulate a clear long-term product vision and strategy for the Platform, aligned with the company's modernization strategy and business objectives. Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap of multiple products within the platform, prioritizing features based on business value, user needs, and technical feasibility. Identify BIG opportunities for growth and improvement within the business. Develop the strategy, business case, and gain executive buy-in to drive and launch initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into detailed product specifications. Leading internal and external outsourced teams and across regions globally. Deeply understand the problems, with a data driven approach to size the impact, customer, and business value to be provided. Able to deep dive and drive things hands-on. Champion requirement writing (PRDs, BRDs and other docs), use cases, and customer research to others. Advocates best practices across organization. Elevate Ford Credit's product excellence by refining and scaling best-in-class product management practices. Spearhead initiatives to further mature the product organization, fostering a culture of innovation, data-driven decision making, and customer-centricity that reinforces Ford Credit's position as an industry leader. Identify key staffing and budgeting needs effectively for the team working with senior leaders. Able to attract talent to close these staffing needs. Lead and drive their team providing regular, constructive, and critical feedback and coaching to team members. This must include product skills, product documents and deliverables, technology skills, and product frameworks. Collaborate effectively with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and sound implementation of product features. Identifies issues, mitigates, and plans for them early. Or Escalates issues early enough to timely resolve them. Work cross-functionally with other teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support. Are a part of the extended leadership team at Ford. Considered a key contributor to that function. Communicate effectively with senior leadership, stakeholders, and team members, presenting compelling product visions, roadmaps, and updates. Create well-defined Product Requirements Documents, Business Case Documents, Strategy Documents, KPIs, OKRs, as well as features, user stories, metrics, and acceptance criteria, prioritizing them into release planning. Refine features and stories, participate in standups, iteration planning sessions, product demos, and retrospectives. You'll have... Master’s degree or combination of experience and education. 10+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a proven track record of success in delivering impactful complex platform products. Deep expertise in understanding of Customer identity resolution, matching, merging, handling non-matches, probability-based matching, customer master data management, data governance processes, data governance organization set-up, business process re-engineering, data anomaly detection and remediation, improving customer data quality, establishing data quality rules, and establishing a customer 360 across the enterprise. Ability to secure executive buy-in, influence teams, and exceptional story-telling and Expertise in technical platforms, APIs, cloud services, technical products, with past hands on engineering experience. Alternatively have led engineering teams that built cloud services or custom software platform solutions, as a Product leader. Be comfortable to roll-up the sleeves and develop tech POVs; and hold architectural discussions using latest technology tools and services. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Experience with platform products and growing adoption across an enterprise. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fluid environment where priorities shift regularly. Ability to break down complex tasks or requirements into simpler, more manageable tasks identifying clear pros, cons, issues, obstacles, and dependencies. Fosters an environment of constant delivery and ownership in their areas. Able to help get things shipped and team members prioritize work in their key focus areas. Ability to deliver high-impact outcomes, make trade-offs and understand the importance of different work-streams, and thus effectively prioritize to deliver maximum business impact. Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) Be proficient with technology systems, system design, APIs, Non-functional requirements, data, big-data, data management and other architectural patterns. ML/AI experience preferred.
