What will you do if join us?
· Responsible for Siemens China/ APAC AUT&DB portfolio strategy and portfolio competitiveness measured by the product sales performance. Decides on team targets, budget and resource allocation, within given limits.
· Analyze and monitor market situation, competitors, technologies, new trends etc. and ensure the optimal strategic positioning for China/APAC including product prices, total installed effort and price etc.
· Working with Global PLM team to define and prioritize technical and commercial market requirements proposals for new products and enhancements for Siemens AUT&DB China/APA Portfolios (USP, 4P, functions and applications).
· In Charge of product managers in capturing the market requirements for products, enhancements and applications in China and APAC, High command on leadership and managing team members to drive and achieve product target.
· Drive and monitor closely new development projects at the local/global R&D center together with the R&D project leader and the product manager to ensure that all product requirements are met (product cost, time to market, product functionality etc.
· To analyze customer satisfaction & customer requirements, needs (including prioritizing needs & features) as well as the competitive landscape (including benchmarking & reverse engineering with competition & identify Gaps)
· Give input to market launch campaign to accompany and communicate features/ benefits of the product.
· Continuously ensure product availability over the whole product lifetime
· Comprehensive and systematic demand planning to ensure product availability as well as limited excess stock.
· Define and implement phase in phase out plan for responsible products to optimize transition and streamlining from existing to new portfolio.
Who are we looking for?
· Bachelor or above degree in electrical engineering or automation or equivalent.
· More than 10 years of experience in product management in complex/matrix environments.
· More than 10 years’ experience with engineering, design of AUT&DB products and applications in buildings, preferably hands on experience.
· 3-5 years solid experience on people management or managerial role
· Proof points of leading with empathy, developing a high-performing and engaged team with entrepreneurial spirit
· Experience of working closely with customers, identifying customer needs and translating them to value propositions and offerings
· Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate and communicate with employees and other stakeholders – including senior management
· Fluent English, preferably also in Mandarin Chinese
