Head of Product Management
FUNCTION: The Head Product Management position outlined below is responsible for oversight and support of the Product Management team as they plan and execute on products throughout their lifecycle. The Head of Product works collaboratively with the Product Management team to ensure that all products support the company’s overall strategy and goals. The Head of Product reports to the Chief Innovation Officer.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Works closely with the Chief Innovation Officer to guide and support strategic projects.

Works with Product Management team to develop key performance indicators for each product and meets regularly to discuss and track performance.Works collaboratively with HR on all tasks necessary to manage Product team.Ensures the Product Management Team is executing product management disciplines to assist in managing retail products, which may include, but are not limited to, retail deposits and services, payment cards, ATMs, online and mobile banking, and banking as a service.Assists with the active management of third-party service provider partnerships and provides escalation support and issue resolution.Provides support to Product Managers as they manage multiple approved projects or process improvements concurrently, coordinates cross-organizational and external resources to achieve project goals.Works with Product Managers to assist in the development and management of new products and services for the Bank.Works with Product Management team as they collaborate with business line managers to determine business development plans that support the strategic direction of product(s).Takes initiative on tasks and looks for ways to improve products and processes.Seeks ways to build strong relationships across the organization and with third-party service providers.Works with Product Managers to ensures that products support the company’s overall strategy and goals.

Assists in ensuring that the Bank is in compliance with local, state and federal regulations

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required, college, business or banking professional training helpful.Previous Product Management and/or bank product development experience preferred.Previous Retail Banking and/or Bank Operations experience preferred.Proven project management experience overseeing multiple projects including experience working with and managing external third-party service providers.Advanced computer literacy.Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.Demonstrated analytical, quantification, and organizational skills.

Physical Demands/Conditions Requirements:

General office environment.Moderate lifting (to 35 lbs.) required.  Moderate reaching, walking, sitting and standing required.
