Job Description

Provides cross-functional leadership, most notably between engineering teams, sales and marketing, and support.ResponsibilitiesProduct ManagementHold overall responsibility for the design, development, and delivery of the organization's product management strategy.
Asset Life Cycle and Interdependencies ManagementOversee cross-functional Agile teams of digital product managers and owners to manage and balance the asset life cycle and ensure interdependencies across product categories, consumer segments, and distribution channels.
Needs AssessmentExplore how market and industry changes will influence and challenge a significant function or business unit or a small business.
Innovation Implementation and Pipeline ManagementSet the strategy, culture, and processes to ensure that potentially disruptive innovations are pushed forward from the seed stage to the market.
Product/Service DevelopmentTake overall responsibility for developing and delivering the organization's strategic plan for its product/service development program.
Product and Solution DevelopmentTake overall responsibility for designing, developing, and delivering the strategic plan for product development for a significant area of the business.
Data-Driven Product and Service ImprovementOversee strategic assessment of the current suite of products to optimize alignment with emerging customer preferences.
Project Team ManagementSet direction for large project and program teams (or multiple large teams); define the overall vision, align subordinate visions, communicate the necessary outcomes, and provide appropriate guidance to achieve these outcomes; manage resources across projects/programs; negotiate the flow of resources on and off the team, as needed; and build the capability of the team through training, coaching, and mentoring. May fulfill the role of project sponsor.
Personal Capability BuildingAct as subject matter expert in a broad area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the organization. Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging technologies, external regulation, and industry best practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
