Provide central consulting on legal and customer requirements for food contact materials and sensitive packaging (e.g., cosmetics, hygiene products) within the Consumer Flexibles business segment.
Advise production sites, R&D, and sales teams on chemicals legislation, including REACH compliance.
Monitor and prepare global legal texts (EU, Switzerland, USA, Mercosur, China, Japan) related to packaging regulations.
Develop and implement central guidelines and training to ensure compliance at production sites.
Enhance and maintain central compliance database systems to adapt to regulatory changes.
Design, implementation and maintenance of a database for the evaluation and risk assessment of NIAS (non-intentionally added substances).
Design and introduction of a central database system for the cross-plant management of raw material data and product structures (Project SPoT - Single Point of Truth).
Maintain the intranet site to present Product Safety & Compliance department information company-wide.
Review compliance documentation for raw materials used in production.
Introduce a central document management system for supplier confirmations.
Represent the company in industry associations on regulatory issues.
