Head of Quality

Job Description

As the Head of Quality, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the future of our product excellence. You will be at the forefront of driving innovation and strategic direction, ensuring our products exceed COS’s renowned quality standards.

You will secure strong quality guidelines in our organisation and with our suppliers by ensuring that products meet high standards, and performance, whilst optimizing efficiency and reducing costs, in line with our customer expectations.

Leading a global organisation, you will inspire a culture of excellence, foster collaboration with suppliers and implement strategies to secure an outstanding customer offer. Your technical expertise and visionary leadership will be instrumental in setting the highest standards for product quality and durability, including building robust operational frameworks. Your role will be key in positioning COS as a leader in quality fashion.

What you will do:

Overall responsible for product quality, quality assurance and product compliance of the COS assortment.Ensure production, assortment team and suppliers deliver exceptional quality products, securing the best customer offer for today and the future.Set, develop and lead the global quality strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and drive implementation to achieve best resultsEnsure our collection lasts beyond the season by focusing on product durability, an area part of both the quality and sustainability agenda.Lead the Global Quality organisation, with teams and colleagues based in multiple countries worldwide.Lead and develop a team of Production Quality Managers responsible for the end-to-end product quality life cycle from development through manufacturing to customer.Enable Assortment team to carry out product development with quality at the core of the offer.Build and foster a collaboration culture between quality, assortment and material teams to implement impactful actions that elevate product quality.Partner with key stakeholders globally to drive shared goals.Secure strong quality guidelines and know how in our organization and with suppliers.Lead the quality strategy development and be the catalyst for execution and follow up results. Ensure quality performance is part of supply chain strategies.Optimize the most effective organizational structure to achieve goals and deliver results.

What you need to succeed:

Proven experience in a senior quality management role within the fashion retail industry, preferably with a premium or luxury background.Degree in quality management, fashion textiles engineering, or a related technical field.In-depth knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and product compliance standardsDemonstrated ability to inspire and manage a diverse team across multiple locations.Experience in developing and implementing strategies to advance the COS quality agenda.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong ability to build and maintain relationships across multiple stakeholders.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.Genuine interest in the COS brand and understanding of customer quality expectations.

Additional Information

This is a full-time permanent contract based at our Head Office in London. Flexibility to travel to Europe and Asia as and when required.
