In addition, senior investment bankers should “sell the bank” by appropriately positioning Truist to provide treasury and payment solutions, private wealth, insurance, Grandbridge, and other services. The primary client set includes REITs, publicly-traded Homebuilders, financial sponsors, real estate private equity funds and insurance companies. Sets strategy and directs the activities for the Real Estate Corporate & Investment banking business, which includes the REIT, Institutional Private Capital, and Credit Products units. Focuses on growth of fee generation, growth in lead relationships, growth of the team, and development of talent and future leadership 2. Responsible for managing and supervising a team of senior banking professionals to deliver corporate & investment banking services to clients, including M&A advisory, debt and equity capital raising, and traditional bank products to corporate and private equity clients in the industry subsector 3. Responsible for achieving the financial objectives of the business, including revenue, capital markets, PPNR, and profitability 4. Responsible for strategically developing and maintaining relationships with C-suite executives, Board Members and relevant senior investment professionals across the client set and for key prospects. 5. Prominent in the industry and recognized as a thought leader in the commercial real estate industry broadly and specific subsectors, such as client type (e.g., REITs) or property type (e.g., Data Centers) in accordance with market trends and strategic priorities. 6. Oversees client selection, pitch activity, deal selection, transaction execution across the corporate banking and investment banking teams. 7. Attract, retain and develop talent of a large team and ensuring appropriate level of resources to conduct business activities. 8. Influences and is accountable for business matters of significance through partnership across the Enterprise including Truist Securities, Credit Delivery, CSBB, Wealth, Payments, Legal, Risk Management, Governance and Controls and others. 9. The RECIB leader is responsible for overseeing the risk borne by the group and ensuring that sound risk management practices are adhered to and appropriate risk/reward tradeoff is managed. 10. This leader is the key liaison with Truist Securities and is responsible for fostering relationships with key product partners, ensuring alignment with Investment Banking and providing oversight to the process for large transactions utilizing TSI processes. 11. Position requires series 79, 63 and 24 licensing **Required Qualifications:** The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1.BA/BS degree 2.Minimum of 15 years of related work experience in investment banking, corporate banking or capital markets with a focus on commercial real estate sector. 3.Experience in leading the execution of an extensive variety of client transactions covering the full advisory and capital raising spectrum 4.Proven ability to develop, nurture and monetize “trusted advisor” client relationships with senior executives 5.Extensive network of relationships with sector management teams, Boards of Directors and Private Equity Investment Professionals 6.Advanced analytical and technical skills combined with a problem solving attitude 7.Excellent interpersonal style, good listening skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely 8.Strong partnering and leadership skills in a complex, matrixed environment 9.
