Head of Risk & Compliance - Captive Insurance (Guernsey) Aon Insurance Managers in Guernsey is seeking an experienced Risk & Compliance Senior Manager to join the team. The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the implementation of a Risk & Compliance framework for AIMG and other Aon group companies based in Guernsey and their respective client entities and to ensure this framework satisfies regulatory and Aon Group requirements. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Guernsey office (the successful candidate will reside full-time in Guernsey. Aon is in the business of better decisions! What the day will look like MLRO for Aon Guernsey and client companies. + Manage the relationship with law enforcement in respect of suspicious activity reports, liaise with the Financial Intelligence Service (‘FIS’) and (as necessary) with ACIM Global Compliance Team (‘GCT’). Risk and Compliance Officer / Manager of Corporate Compliance Services provider for AIMG and client companies. + Primary contact for the Guernsey Financial Services Commission (‘GFSC’) + Lead the provision of risk and compliance services (including AML / CFT) + Supervise compliance with GFSC Handbook + Produce board and other reports + Maintain compliance registers (e.g. breaches, complaints, PEPs, etc.) + Attend board meetings. In addition, for Aon Guernsey companies only. + Manage compliance relationship with GCT + Manage provision of other functions as required (e.g. company secretarial) + Chair, Risk & Compliance Committee + Chair, Business Approval Committee + Manage Risk & Compliance team, ensuring appropriate allocation of tasks, day to day supervision, target and objective setting and conducting appraisals + Provide Risk & Compliance training and support to Staff + Engender a compliance ‘Culture.’ Aon Group + Primary risk and compliance contact in Guernsey, along with working with the ACIM GHRC on global objectives and any issues that impact AIMG, keeping GHRC updated as necessary + Acting as primary contact for AIMG on Risk & Compliance matters and ensuring AIMG employees are aware of this + Providing reports to ACIM GCT / ACIM GHRC / Aon corporate compliance as necessary + Working with Guernsey management team to achieve ACIM risk and compliance objectives (e.g. as set out in the ACIM Risk & Compliance goals and in line with ACIM Risk Appetite Statement) + Understanding ACIM specific policies and Aon Corporate Compliance policies, circulating these policies to AIMG employees, training / updating AIMG employees on these policies, as necessary. + To undertake such other responsibilities as the Managing Director may request from time to time.
