Head of Sales, SUR, MED ID

Marketing & Sales activities

Implementing Sales & Marketing strategies for SURProduct management, price positioning, competitive pricing analysis.Portfolio standardization and GTM strategy for new launchesVisit key account and thought leaders in Indonesia and build KOL’s in the countryPlanning and implementation of events and road shows/ CME’sReporting on market intelligenceSupport sales team with bundling tools and complex salesMarket access plan for various FOB’s, periodic assessment and improvement plans.

Financials

Meet the territory sales goals and objectives.Achieve and exceed target in all product division.Ensure profitability within the given territory and segment.Pricing analysis, ROI and margin calculations for bundle deals.

Operations

Inventory Management (Ensuring optimum use/ circulation of demo)Ensure optimal inventory levels with reduction in write offs of stockWork closely with inventory planner to ensure sufficient inventory to meet customers’ demandsImprove and review ordering / delivery processes of consumablesImprovement of sales process by adapting to right sales toolsDemo planning and management of Demo stock

Sales & Customer Relationships 

Visit existing and prospective customers regularlySpend at least 40% of the time out of the office visiting KOLs and customersDemonstrate excellent sales skills and makes effective use of sales aidsGood knowledge of competition and report competitive activitiesEnsure that the company achieves its customer satisfaction objectives at all times – NPS / CPO scores

Collaboration with team members & leadership

Drive performance and motivate the members of your teamFoster teamwork among the team members and cross-divisionalCommunicate openly and create a feedback culture with your team membersCoaching the sales/ product management teamsInfluence and motivate country teams in the execution of the SUR strategies

Education / Professional Certification

University degree in Medical, Ophthalmology, Science, Business Administration, Marketing or any related field

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales Management / Business Development in the medical device industry, preferably with ophthalmic productsMinimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role.Experience in marketing and product management preferable.

Knowledge / Skills / Other characteristics

Excellent leadership skills with strong influencing skillsHigh customer orientationExcellent communication and negotiation skillsStrong business acumen and strategic mindsetAnalytical, good understanding of finance fundaments and numerateArticulate and strong selling and presentation skillsProcess oriented, structured and hands on in approachDetailed oriented.Good command of spoken and written English is a must
