Head of Sales
The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for our residential property management services. This senior executive role will oversee the sales team, establish growth targets, and ensure the achievement of revenue goals. The Head of Sales will work closely with the executive team to align sales strategies with the company’s overall objectives and drive business expansion. The core focuses of the position include oversight of sales strategy development and iteration, revenue diversification and growth, market analysis, sales operations and execution, collaboration, customer focus, and performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's goals and market opportunities Identify new markets, growth areas, and sales channels in partnership with the greater executive team Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement Drive revenue growth by strengthening portfolio and account strategy, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs – then use insights to inform sales strategies and tactics Oversee sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting Ensure sales processes and tools are utilized effectively, including CRM and RFP technology Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives Work with the marketing team to develop and execute effective lead generation campaigns Ensure a customer-centric approach in all sales activities Address customer concerns and feedback to improve satisfaction and retention Set performance metrics, monitor sales activities, and provide regular reports to the executive team Gather internal and external feedback to inform pricing strategy Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvementEducation/Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role within the property management or real estate industry. Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Knowledge: Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools. Background: In-depth knowledge of the residential property management industry, market trends, and best practices preferred. Attributes: Results-oriented, customer-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
