Head of Sales  Kitu Systems, Inc. is an industry leader in distributed energy resources. As a mature DER aggregator, virtual power plant, electric vehicle charge management system, and embedded energy client Kitu serves a rapidly expanding global energy economy. Kitu’s end-to-end energy services Grid Action PlatformTM serves utilities, charge point operators, residential and commercial energy market participants, and OEMs for a broad range commercial needs.  Kitu is looking for an experienced sales leader to join our team in a dynamic and growing clean energy industry.  Job Summary   Are you a motivated sales leader who thrives in a creative technical environment and enjoys working with a wide variety of accounts? Kitu is scaling rapidly and needs your help to discover new opportunities and build our future.    What You Will Be Doing    We are looking for a sales leader to further accelerate our growth and build relationships with valuable new and existing customers. You will own the full sales cycle and have visibility to an enterprise-wide pipeline. The sales leader will be the expert on Kitu’s platforms and future trends in our industry.    What You Will Do   + Manage current business with our long-standing customers.   + Prospect new customers, create proposals, and plot a course to initiate deployment.   + Manage sales managers and cultivate pipeline growth and reporting.   + Build an intimate understanding of Kitu’s products and their place in the industry.   + Develop and execute sales strategy in a dynamic and fast paced startup environment.   + Contribute to go to market strategic decisions.   + Deliver a world-class experience for prospects who are considering Kitu’s platform solutions.    What You Will Bring To The Table   + 3+ years of winning track record selling enterprise and SaaS based solutions.  Experience managing a sales team is preferred.   + Experience in the energy sector (utility, solar generation, battery storage, DER, EV, etc.) preferred.   + Experience in sourcing and building your own pipeline.   + Technical / engineering background or technology fluency is a plus.   + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred   Location Remote     Benefits and Perks  Kitu Systems offers competitive compensation and a benefits package including:   + Medical, dental and vision insurance (company pays 90% of employee premiums)   + 3 weeks paid time off (PTO)   + 401(k), Life insurance, Flexible spending account (FSA), Health Savings Accounts (HSA)   + Remote work (USA only and other state limitations may apply)  + Opportunity to make a difference and implement your ideas.   Kitu Systems recognizes that all individuals can make an impact.
