Your role: As Head of Sales Academia Team BeNeLux, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the Western Europe Academia business strategy, focusing on driving long-term sustainable business growth in the Benelux region. Your primary responsibility will be to maximize sales revenue, margin growth, and profit within your area of responsibility. You will enhance the effectiveness of the sales force by ensuring that your team receives appropriate training and support from the organization, while also ensuring that customers receive exemplary support and high-quality service from the entire organization. In this role, you will lead with a focus on results by providing regular and accurate forecasts and reports. You will drive your team to prioritize key growth drivers, achieving above-market growth and exceeding sales targets through effective sales tactics and tools. Enhancing pricing contributions through strategic discount management and competitor intelligence will also be a key focus area. Collaboration with the Marketing team will be essential, as you will develop and implement specific digital sales strategies and tactics for the Benelux region, supporting the business segment in achieving commercial excellence. You will demonstrate leadership and foster teamwork within a matrix organization through effective communication, common objective setting, and employee development. Setting objectives and monitoring performance for your direct reports will be part of your responsibilities, supporting their professional development. As an integral member of the senior sales management team, you will collaborate with colleagues to achieve Western European targets. Adhering to processes and systems to support and monitor account and tender implementation will be critical. You will coach sales managers in all aspects of the sales process, encouraging customer-centric excellence, and develop and document business plans to support team targets and customer segment strategy, identifying new growth areas and initiatives. Additionally, you will carry out tasks delegated by your line manager and provide coverage in their absence as needed.
