Joint objectives & Main Tasks

Operational Lead Supply Chain Excellence for Domestic Delivery Services (DDS) across Asia Pacific for GB Supply Chain Services with a team to manageOperational Lead the global DDS Supply Chain Control Tower/Nerve Center team with a clear focus on enabling Supply Chain Service teams to better steering their operations towards an improved cost to serve & Service level positionDrive transformation within GBs DDS Supply Chain Services in line with GBs and BASF Strategy Drive & Manage cross-functional optimization projects and continuous improvement activities for GBs DDS Supply Chain Service Portfolio considering digital technologiesEvaluate and prioritize those activities and ensure the coordination and harmonization of local, regional and global projects and activities with other supporting and enabling departments Responsible to build up and drive communities anchored around GBs DDS Supply Chain Services from a functional and/or technological perspectiveClose collaboration with GBs Supply Chain Service teams on topics such as priorization of initiatives, further development of services   Close Collaboration with Overseas SC Excellence TeamsDirectly and indirectly motivate service operations as well as regional units to regionally and cross-functionally collaborate in predominantly change activities. Support the strategical development of the area of expertise to secure and provide the required expertise with the focus on SC Excellence

 

Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position

Education:

University degree or similar with focus on Logistics or SCM (Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, etc.)

Working Experience:

At least 10 years of working experience in areas related to this job (Logistics, SCM, Production), thereof min. 5 years of BASF experience; at least 3 previous jobsWorking experience in chemical industry or logistics preferredExperience in operational SCM as well as Excellence / project roles

Technical & Professional Knowledge:

Strong analytical and problem-solving thinkingInitiative, pro-active, self-motivated Preferably already gained leadership experienceExcellent communication skillExperienced in successful project managementFamiliar with SAP Fluent in English
