Aggressively negotiate premiums, coverage enhancements, commissions, and existing coverages with carriers Provide a thorough review and analysis of renewal information; including but not limited to, coverage, limits, loss history, and exposures Responsible for leading marketing strategy and proposal review meetings with Willis team members to correspond with client presentation dates Create innovative placement approaches to meet and exceed client expectations Create and analyze comparisons of carrier quotes to demonstrate value and thoroughness for clients; make recommendations where needed Deliver market intelligence for strategy meetings and utilize available resources throughout the marketing process Address client needs by identifying coverage gaps and highlighting new coverage opportunities for comprehensive program placements Provide thorough communication with all WTW team members, carriers, and/or wholesalers throughout the duration of each placement Bind coverage and create and submit carrier binders/documents Responsible for maintaining and building strong carrier and wholesaler relationships Keep informed of changing insurance and risk market conditions. Communicate changes and/or updates to Service Team members as they relate to pertinent classes of business Understand and comply with WTW Excellence Model Management (WEM) requirements Ability to complete business travel for client visits, other WTW office visits, and/or advanced skill training on a limited basis. Collaborate and communicate with other client services teams and Shared Service Centers (e.g. the National Accounting Center [NAC], Certificate Issuance Team [Cert Center], Surplus Lines, various global and domestic Central Operations groups, to smoothly and efficiently complete joint work/process steps/etc. Maintain performance to applicable Client Service and Placement standards and/or metrics

The Requirements

Property & Casualty license as required by state lawCommercial P&C insurance knowledge/experience is required and previous success in client facing work strongly preferred3+ years’ work experience in a similar job function or with similar processes is very strongly preferredDemonstrated excellence in negotiation skills and influence skills are criticalSuperior interpersonal skills for working with colleagues and clients in a collaborative team environmentDemonstrated ability in conflict resolution and selling skills are a plusStrong verbal and written communication skills to include phone conversation, email communication, and written presentations skillsDemonstrated capability in strong in person communication/presentation skills is advantageousTechnology acumen to adapt to multitude of technology-based systems (Epic, carrier online rating systems, Broking Platform, etc.)Attention to detail and process orientationTime Management and Organizational Skills in the face of changing deadlines and workloadsAbility to work independently, yet actively and appropriately engage the services provided by “extended team members” across the Shared Service Centers and TeamsCustomer service focusProblem solving abilities, including critical thinking, research, quantitative skills, creativityBasic to Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills to include email, Word, PowerPoint and ExcelWord skills to include: formatting, Tables, Table of Contents, Headers, Footers and Review capabilitiesExcel skill capabilities to include: data entry and formattingExposure to Excel formulas and Pivot table creation/manipulation a plusMust successfully complete appropriate licensing exam(s) and/or maintain required licensing by completing various Continuing Education activities as needed. If already licensed, must be able to show valid confirmation of current licensing status.  Obtain Surplus Lines License.Insurance designations such as CPCU, CIC and ARM are advantageous
