We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Investments Wealth Solutions (IWS) team to provide best in class Equity trading products and platforms that best suit our customers’ needs. The jobholder will be responsible for development of product, pricing and marketing strategy, including a coherent offering of digital investment products to be able to fulfil customer needs and increase Bank’s market share as well as AUM.
The working location for this position is HSBC Tower, Dubai, UAE.
In this role, you will:
• Work on the development and commercialization of Equity Trading Products for WPB.
o Focus on supporting the development of the Trading business and its strategy with the continued implementation of a digital platform for Investments and addition of Equities, ETFs, and online wealth Products relevant to the region.
o Develop wealth digital products and services in collaboration with key stakeholders in country and other Group teams.
o Commercialization of World trader - Act as an SME for the Equity/digital trading business, and works the matrix effectively to influence change in the organization, and promote greater effectiveness in delivery.
o Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company's goals and values.
• Operate across all levels of management, and deliver initiatives such as introduction of new products, enhance the platform, develop the journey and improve the experience to both RMs and clients.
• Play a significant role in the Capital Markets business, particularly self-directed securities trading which includes use case development, user journey mapping, commercial KPI definition, positioning, naming, partnerships, product links etc., as well as the key enablers that underpin its delivery.
• Work closely with the Head of Digital for the smoothest possible client experience.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Stakeholder Management: Responsible for collaboration between global, regional and country teams and obtaining buy-in from and influencing senior management and stakeholders for specific key initiatives.
o Typical stakeholders include: WPB business line / segments heads, Frontline teams, Global IWS team, HTS (IT, change delivery, service delivery) in the execution and supporting of the strategy and services to customers.
• Ensure that we meet all Regulatory and Compliance requirements (SCA, CB, QCB).
• Maintain and observe HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy.
