Head of Services
**Location:** Remote/Hybrid/Office-Based – United States or Dublin, Ireland. **Position Summary:** The Head of Services at Bentley Systems will lead the professional services division, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality technology. As a strategic leader, you will develop and execute plans to increase user consumption, enhance Bentley's service delivery processes, incorporate best practices and lessons learned, and oversee service delivery to achieve financial objectives aligned with the company's growth goals. Your focus will also include improving operational performance, enhancing delivery quality, and continually refining the PMO to ensure best-in-class project management standards, governance, risk management, and reduced delivery times. Your role involves executing a standards-based approach, collaborating with finance partners to meet delivery and target metrics, and directly engaging with clients to develop tailored solutions. Additionally, you will improve standardized service documentation, lead the global services team, build relationships with industry experts, conduct quarterly business reviews with sales, foster a culture of continuous learning, support clients' infrastructure data intelligence goals, guide them through digital transformation, and maintain a feedback loop with the product organization to stay informed on new capabilities. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead the global services team with aligned goals, great communication, strategic vision, clear expectations, and sharing progress towards outcomes. + Execute a strategic plan for Bentley Services to meet objectives and increase user adoption and consumption targets. + Develop our approach and standardize statements of work. + Oversee the delivery of services to achieve business outcomes and yearly targets. + Improve operational performance to reduce contractual periods and delivery times. + PMO improvements to facilitate best-in-class project management standards, governance, risk management, and performance tracking. + Drive the adoption and implementation of best practice processes and procedures. + Create team hiring standards to enhance project execution. + Work with finance business partners to ensure delivery targets, consumption impact, and satisfaction metrics are met and improved. + Directly engage with clients to understand their enterprise challenges and develop tailored solutions. + Build strong relationships with industry experts and thought leaders to deliver high-value services. + Conduct consistent account plans and business review sessions with sales. + Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development. + Support clients in advancing their infrastructure data intelligence goals with Bentley solutions. + Guide clients through their digital transformation journey, leveraging Bentley's software and services. + Maintain a feedback loop with the product organization to stay updated on new and planned product capabilities. + Present metrics to sales leadership to demonstrate performance and engagement levels. **Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience required. + 10+ years of experience in professional services or consulting, with a focus on technology solutions. + Extremely effective communicator with exceptional presentation skills; capable of interacting with colleagues and customers at all levels and across all business lines. + Highly motivated and driven; charismatic and capable customer-facing individual. + Proficiency in organizational change management, including impacts, outcomes, and continuous improvement. + Experience managing resource allocation and leading cross-functional, service delivery teams with geographically dispersed members to measurable success. + Drive operational excellence in a volume business, combining data and strategic management. + Proven leadership experience managing large teams and complex projects. + Strong understanding of digital transformation and/or the engineering software industry. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders. + Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a client-focused approach. + Ability to travel 25%-50% globally. + Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements (https://www.bls.gov/ors/factsheet/visual-overview-of-physical-demands.htm) ).
