Head of Social Media & Content, Prime Video Sports
Amazon Prime Video’s sports marketing team is seeking an experienced strategic social marketing leader to grow our live sports and originals offerings. This leader will set the social strategy to scale audience and engagement, deepen brand affinity, drive viewership intent for Prime Video sports live and originals content, and leverage existing channels to drive new revenue streams. They will lead a team of experienced social media marketers, agency partners & creatives that constantly strive to create innovative, bar-raising content. They will have deep experience in social-first organic, engagement & UGC content, influencer programs and multicultural initiatives. They will refine existing strategies and editorial and promotional content approach, as well as develop new strategies to reach our sports audience with clips & real time storytelling. They will develop and share engagement and performance reports across other leaders and stakeholders, and be comfortable adjusting to a roadmap that is flexible, adapting to meet the needs of our customers, league partners, stakeholders and partner teams. They will operate in a role of considerable scope and complexity and will have significant impact on our customer experience as well as prime video sport’s brand and viewership growth goals.




Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience, with demonstrated results setting holistic social media strategies for sports & entertainment brands. They will have a strong passion for and deep knowledge of live sports, entertainment and the larger media landscape and trends globally. This individual will have deep industry knowledge and the analytical expertise to plan for and measure success on all campaigns. They will work autonomously, make smart decisions and be seen as an expert in their field. They will demonstrate experience in managing complex cross-functional projects with diverse stakeholders, and juggling multiple competing priorities. They will be comfortable picking up new technologies and sharing their knowledge and learning with team members.
