The opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Head of Strategic Delivery Governance to join the AUSPAC Technology Team, reporting to the GM, Enterprise Delivery.  In this role you will focus on the effective management of IT delivery, ensuring alignment and consistency across the delivery channels for multiple delivery methods.

Your new role

As Head of Strategic Delivery Governance, you will be responsible for aligning and implementing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) standards and processes end to end across all delivery channels. You will also be responsible for:

Facilitation and tracking of the enterprise portfolio delivery sequence and dependency tracking across all delivery channels and identify any technical debt.

Define and lead communities of practice across all delivery resources to keep consistence application of skillsets, ensure best practice application of processes and tooling to support the CoP

Ensure project tooling,  workflow is set up to support project reporting and metric capture for delivery leads.

Align and support the consistency of delivery practices across regions AUSPAC regions

About you

To be successful in this role you will have significant experience in Project/Program/Portfolio management, coupled with experience in senior delivery or account management roles in IT. You will also have:

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels in IT and business.

Experience with the concept of Solution Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Experienced in stakeholder management, specifically at senior executive level.

Experience of negotiating and influencing executive level sponsors.

Experience in working in an outsourced IT arrangement and working with SI vendors.
