Head of Strategy, Radiology Informatics

As a strategic leader on our Radiology Informatics team, you will be responsible for defining the strategic direction of our Radiology Informatics business, ensuring we remain at the forefront of innovation and market leadership. You will work closely with business leadership to shape our long-term vision and strategic initiatives to accelerate execution delivery of cutting-edge Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) solutions that enhance diagnostic capabilities and streamline clinical workflows. 

Your role: 

Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to scale the Radiology Informatics/PACS business, both through organic and inorganic levers to create sustainable growth and impact.Identify key market trends, opportunities, and competitive threats to inform strategic decisions, tradeoffs, and value chain shifts, and initiatives.Identify and evaluate potential business development opportunities, including partnerships, alliances, and acquisitions, to drive disproportionate growth.Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and go-to-market prioritization.Provide actionable insights and recommendations to business leadership based on market intelligence and data-driven analysis of industry activities.Collaborate with product management, R&D, marketing, and sales teams to ensure strategic initiatives are effectively executed with quality and speed and act as a strategic advisor to the business leader and business leadership team, contributing to high-level decision-making and long-term planning.

You're the right fit if:  

You’ve acquired 10+ years of experience in strategy development and business execution, with at least 5 years in healthcare technology or medical imaging (PACS preferred). Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives reflected in impact to both top line and bottom line and driving scale to global business.Your skills include strong writing experience, excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong bias for action to navigate ambiguity, deep ownership to drive impact within and beyond scope of responsibility, and ability to earn trust externally/internally.You have at a minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, medical field and/or business related field; Master’s degree preferred. Doctorate in technical healthcare field, with background in healthcare Informatics, or a related field, nice to have.You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.You also have the ability to build trust and manage relationships with the C-level leadership and other key influencers across ecosystem and have a familiarity with overall software value chain, cloud SaaS models, and business transformation. Must be able to travel around 20% of the time, including international travel.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $160,000 to $275,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.    

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here. 

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

For this position, you must reside in, be willing to relocate or be within commuting distance to Cambridge, MA.
