About the Role

The position objectives are to lead and manage training teams within the Talent Development function to strategize and drive the competency development of Agency Leaders and Consultants of AIA Singapore’s Agency Distribution, AIA FA, AIA Brunei, Partnership Distribution and Call Centre, to ensure they are active, productive and professional in a way to meet the relevant division’s KPIs.

Lead and develop a team of leaders and trainers, ensuring they are motivated and competent to deliver business-driven training outcomes aligned to organisational goals.Support the Head of Talent Acquisition & Development in developing, driving and delivering learning strategies, development pathways and curriculum to support the growth of Tied Distribution for current and future roles.Build and strengthen rapport with agency force through routine and regular contact, communicating Tied Distribution standards and expectation, resolving training and development concerns.Evaluate the effectiveness of training events through feedback, discussion and agency visits, as well as analysis of business outcomes, pre and post training events.Provide Head of Talent Acquisition & Development with regular reports regarding training activities and outcomes.Manage the department budget & operations and constantly review processes to ensure relevance.Manage training projects that drive company-wide strategic and digital initiatives across the channels.Engage with key stakeholders and leverage on technology to derive data-driven insights and scale personalized training recommendations, supported by the Learning Management System.Support Partnership Distribution and Corporate Solutions with training to their partners.Support AIA Brunei to drive competencies of the Leaders and Consultants.Active collaboration with AIAFA Management and Distribution force to ensure alignment.Collaborate with industry associations to ensure AIA’s interest is represented.Ensure best-in-class training by keeping up to date with the latest trends, best practices & technology.Champion and drive change.Actively manage risk and compliance matters in the department.Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervising manager in order to meet business objectives, operational and/or other requirements.

Requirements:

Education – Minimum Degree HolderExperience – Minimum 10 years of training and/or managerial experienceCertifications/licenses – RES5, M9, M9A, HI preferredOther skills: Presentation, Ability to train and coach, Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
