Role/ Department: Head of Talent Management Practices/Talent Management, North America
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Talent Management Leader to oversee and drive the core talent processes within our organization. This individual will play a critical role in shaping and implementing strategies related to performance management, talent planning, official title promotions, recognition programs, and the employee listening strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of 12-15 years in talent management/human resources and possess strong process and change management skills. This role will report to the Head of Talent Management and Development.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
• Lead the assessment, design, implementation and/or optimization of key talent management products in our portfolio inclusive of -
-Performance Management: Optimize and enhance existing performance management frameworks to ensure continuous alignment with business goals and ongoing employee development.
-Talent Planning: Strengthen talent planning initiatives, including succession planning, to ensure the organization consistently meets current and future talent needs.
-Official Title Promotions: Streamline and improve the promotion process to ensure transparency, fairness, and alignment with career progression frameworks.
-Recognition Programs: Enhance and manage recognition programs to effectively reward and motivate employees, fostering a culture of appreciation and high performance.
-Employee Listening Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive employee listening strategy that encompasses regular engagement surveys, feedback mechanisms, and proactive action plans to holistically understand and enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.
• Develop and manage project and communication plans to ensure seamless execution, partnering with internal teams and stakeholders to enhance the user experience for talent management programs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather input and align on talent management initiatives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert to provide guidance on talent management practices and execute change management strategies for successful adoption of talent management tools.
• Establish performance measures and use data to evaluate and improve talent management programs.
• Support executive level talent management processes
• Create documentation to promote operational efficiency.
Skills/ Qualifications:
• 12-15 years of experience in talent management/human resources, with a strong emphasis on performance management, talent planning, and employee engagement. Financial Services experience preferred.
• Experience in change management, with the ability to drive and manage transformation initiatives effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders within HR and across business units.
• Strong collaboration skills, with experience working across diverse teams and functions.
• Proven track record in taking projects from design through to implementation and adoption.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
