Job Summary:
If you are a specialist in Plant Operations, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a Head of Operations (Associate Director) to work for our Pressure Management Business Unit.
This will be a professional Plant Leader role covering the full spectrum of Plant Management functions including Environment, Safety & Health, Production, Quality, Materials Planning, Order Management, Logistics, Facilities, Finance and Human Resources. This role will ensure that strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs and have full financial responsibilities for the plant. This role will report to the Business Unit AP Operations Director and will closely work with Entity and Emerson India Leader for Compliance and Governance.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Provide leadership and advocate the culture of I Own Safety and Continuous Improvement across the plant in line with Environment, Safety & Health, Manufacturing and Quality standards Create and implement vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures for the plant to aid and improve business performance Formulate and drive key operational initiatives according to the long term and short-term strategies, and coach the teams on delivering best-in-class quality and service excellence Provide direction to departments - coach, mentor and develop a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, contributed and cost reductions Ensure compliance with government regulations, company policies and safety standards Accountable for the plant’s P&L. Plans, advises and coordinates the plant operations of all relevant departments in accordance with schedule, quality and cost objectives Collaborate effectively with commercial teams to ensure that monthly and annual sales commitments are met and product & services delivered according to customers’ expectations Overall responsibility in ensuring efficient utilization of equipment and facilities Partner with Human Resources team on organization and people development Establish and maintain a People Centric Culture - the Emerson wayWho You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
A bachelor’s degree in a related field with more than 10 years of relevant experience Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills Good analytical and problem-solving abilities Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against challenging targets and timelines Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets Experience working in a matrix organization preferred Solid experience in organizational development and knowledge of international business Effectively collaborate with senior leadership and across cultural/geographical boundaries Ability to travel within India, China, Singapore, Asia Pacific and other Global locations as and when requiredPreferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
