Performing regular analysis of renewable energy data to support the accurate pricing and forecasting. Working with the wider Energy Portfolio Management function to define and implement cost effective risk management approaches to deliver committed generation and reduce risk.
Leadership: - Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Data Analysis: - Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of performance data for renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and hydroelectric systems.
Performance Optimization: - Identify opportunities for performance enhancements and efficiency improvements across renewable energy assets.
Reporting: -Develop and present comprehensive performance reports and dashboards to senior management and stakeholders.
Strategy Development: - Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to develop strategies that align with company goals and optimize asset performance.
Regulatory Compliance: - Ensure all performance analyses meet industry regulations and standards, and support compliance initiatives.
Market Trends: Monitor and analyze industry trends, technologies, and best practices to inform strategic decisions and identify competitive advantages.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
Investigate present developments and technologies regarding Renewable Energy (RE) and Energy Efficiency (EE) across states, national and international stages.
Conduct studies relevant to Renewable Energy policies/regulations and develop clear understanding to generate valuable inputs.
Develop concept notes, project ideas and proposals around relevant subjects considering their high relevance and social impacts.
Perform research activities, modelling tasks and make a strong knowledgebase of RE sector behavior, performance, existing technologies transformations and business models.
Familiar with concepts of tariff determination, regulatory reforms, financial modelling, retail tariff design, market assessments, open access, energy auditing, ACS-ARR etc.
Coordinate with various sector stakeholders including utility companies, regulators, funding agencies, government bodies and other research institutions.
Document and publish the research findings in detailed reports, journals and conferences, op-eds, newsletters
Co-ordination with OEM/Third party for Power curve valuation test,
Coordination with third party for post commissioning performance improvement of Wind sites.
Engagement for advance energy analysis, Review and summarize third party consultant reports,
Coordination with Solar & wind resource team for sites evaluation,
Study of preliminary project wind energy resource analysis reports, due diligence reports and update to management,
Stay abreast of interconnection requirements, industry developments, technologies, etc.
Maintain database tracking post commissioning energy production Plan Vs Actual.
Performance analysis of the wind turbines through its power curve monitoring (using SCADA).

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in renewable energy performance analysis or related roles, with a proven track record in leadership.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL). basic knowledge in Statistics, Quantitative Analytics.
- In-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Competence in using software and statistical tools such as MS Excel and tableau (Python, R and SAS will be advantage) to develop various models.
· Proven ability to assess RE & EE sector operations to derive innovative alternatives and approaches for problem solving.
