**Job Title: Head Plant Engineer**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a Head Plant Engineer for a family-owned regional company that has been growing successfully since 1934. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in plant maintenance and leadership. This role requires the ability to communicate with all levels of management, manage and support engineering teams, and implement well-defined preventative maintenance programs. Flexibility in schedule and the physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds are required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform scheduled preventative maintenance programs
+ Work with other associates in a team to accomplish goals
+ Maintain safety and cleanliness standards
+ Assist in other areas and/or departments as needed
+ Supervise front line maintenance personnel
+ Train and develop existing and new maintenance staff
+ Design, plan, install, and maintain plant systems
**Essential Skills**
+ Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures
+ Experience with boilers, air compressors, welding, and piping
+ Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics
+ Understanding of electrical circuitry and PLCs
+ Ability to troubleshoot electro/mechanical utility and electrical systems
+ General equipment and building maintenance knowledge
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with air cylinders, solenoid valves, steam traps, motor starters, gear reducers, inverter drives, or industrial laundry equipment is a plus
+ High level of attention to detail
+ Strong communication skills, verbal and written
+ Highly organized
+ Computer literate
+ Associates Degree in Engineering or related field or sufficient experience
+ Minimum of at least 3 years of maintenance supervision experience

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $100000.00
