Nestled in the heart of Estero Bay, near the Gulf of Mexico, West Bay Club is a member-owned gated community and private golf club encompassing nearly 900 acres - 500 of which are dedicated to conservation. The community boasts 790 residences, including estate homes, high-rise condos, and villas, all set amidst lush tropical landscaping and bordering Estero Bay and Gulf of Mexico. West Bay recently underwent a $40 million renovation of the club amenities and golf course.

Located in the picturesque surroundings of West Bay’s community the Bay House facility includes a resort-style pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, spa, culinary academy, card and meeting rooms, and the Aqua Café offering both indoor and outdoor dining. West Bay’s tennis facility offers center court viewing on all eight Har-Tru courts. Additionally, the Sports Park offers six pickleball courts, two bocce courts, and a dog park. Residents also enjoy kayaking, canoeing, boating, and fishing all from the West Bay River Park's on-premises dock, featuring a private boat launch and boat storage.

A unique feature of the community is West Bay’s private Beach Club, which underwent a complete reconstruction, completed in March 2024. About The Position

West Bay Club is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Head Racquets Professional to join our team. This role supports the Director of Racquets in delivering exceptional tennis and pickleball programming, lessons, clinics, and events. The ideal candidate will be passionate about racquet sports, have strong leadership abilities, and excel at providing an outstanding member experience.

Job Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Racquets in managing and overseeing all racquet sports operations, including tennis, pickleball, and bocce. Conduct private and group lessons for members of all skill levels, fostering skill development and a love of the sport. Lead clinics, camps, and instructional programs for both adults and juniors, ensuring high-quality coaching standards. Assist in organizing and managing racquet sports events, tournaments, socials, and leagues, enhancing member engagement and participation. Maintain the racquet facility, ensuring all courts, equipment, and areas are in top condition and meet the standards of West Bay Club. Collaborate with the Director of Racquets to recruit and develop junior programs, increasing participation and cultivating young talent. Provide exceptional customer service to all members, building relationships and offering personalized coaching and support. Stay current with racquet sport trends, teaching methods, and best practices, continuously improving the club’s offerings. Serve as a role model for professionalism, sportsmanship, and club values, fostering a positive and welcoming environment.

Education/Qualifications

Proven experience as a Tennis and/or Pickleball Professional, preferably at a private club or resort. CPR, First Aid Certification, Teaching Certification (Tennis & Pickleball).
