Salary: Professional Rate ($35/hour) per GTA contract

Minimum Requirements:
-Current GCSD teacher
-Experience with Master Scheduling
-Certified teacher
-Effective or highly effective as defined by the District Teacher Performance Review process
-Deep knowledge of scheduling process
-Excellent knowledge, understanding and application of staffing and course selection
-Ability to problem-solve and communicate with administration and scheduling team
-Ability to work on a team, as well as independently
-Knowledge of course expectations at all grade levels and requirements for graduation
Position Summary/Responsibilities:
-Responsible for planning and developing the master schedule. Continuously processing, updating, and correcting all materials related to the school's master schedule, including teacher schedules.
-Collaborates with internal personnel for maintaining services and programs (i.e. SPED, ENL, Music programs)
-Creates the master schedule and determines the number of advisements/study halls required for the assignment of teachers
-Acts as a team leader, directing and supervising individuals as to their role as pat of the master schedule team
-The master scheduler may include but is not limited to: adapting to changing priorities, communicating with diverse groups of individuals maintaining confidentiality, working as part of a team, working with detailed information and working with frequent interruptions, setting priorities and working under minimal supervision, working withing time constraints.
