Chart Industries in Beasley, TX is looking for experienced welders. Must be willing to work overtime and pass 2 weld tests - a 6G Tig test on carbon steel 2” pipe and a 2G weld test. Chart’s experienced welders play a key role in the manufacturing process of producing Air Cooled Heat Exchangers.
Open interviews every Tuesday from 1pm - 3pm. Walk-in and take a tour with a manager! This is a manufacturing setting where customers visit. You must be dressed in long pants, closed toed shoes and have on a shirt with sleeves. If you do not meet these requirements, you will be turned away and asked to come back the following week in the required attire.
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be… Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques Ability to lay-out, burn holes, fit and weld nozzles Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness Performs a variety of tasks Promotes and supports safety and production Makes quality visual U.T. and x-ray welds Your Education Should Be…High school diploma or its equivalent required
