Adecco is actively recruiting for a Direct Hire Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator. The company is based out of Canada but has multiple drilling sites one of which is in Winnemucca, NV. This individual must have the ability to act in accordance with the principles that support the culture and values of our drilling client by complying with financial, legal, and environmental standards through a rigorous, ethical, and forward-thinking approach. This competence also implies intervening in the event of non-compliance with these principles. **Behavioral Competencies:** _Values & Ethics, Flexibility & Adaptability, Consulting Role, Health & Safety, Change Management_ **Description of Purpose for the Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator includes but is not limited to the following:** **Prepare site documentation – 10%** • Define the necessary documents for the working sites • Print and prepare the necessary documents **Worksite start-up – 20%** • Ensure that the necessary documents are posted and/or available **Tasks Assessment – 10%** • Evaluate employees performing a task • Determine deficiencies related to the task **Assess the site's OHS level – 10%** • Attend the safety break and make recommendations • Verify the use and relevance of OSH work tools (FLRA-Take5-Observation) **Carry out inspections of the in-operation worksites – 40%** + Verify the implementation of the various SST components. + Compensating for deficiencies **Develop JHA-Risk Assessment and procedures – 10%** + Support site supervisors with the production of procedures, JHA and/or Risk Assessment + This opportunity will require travel – 75% of the working time. + Shifts very depend on where and which site you will be visiting. + Salary range DOE – 60,000 – 90,000 – must have 2-3 years’ experience. + College degree or equivalent experience. + Proficient in Word, Excel and valid Driver’s license + Good physical ability. + Suitable for working in harsh conditions Hot – Cold. + Able to work in remote areas. + Open to do shift rotations.
