Job Description
Introduces and performs the energetic therapy of Reiki as an aid in relaxation and provides supportive listening
Job Responsibility
1.Explaining the energetic modality process and answering questions about the practice
2.Conducting reiki consultations for the clients
3.Guiding energy and activating the healing process
4.Observes client response before, during and after treatment, and provides feedback to the client when requested
5.When necessary, performing distance Reiki treatments
6.Educating potential clients/clients on how to schedule an appointment
7.Collaborates with the Holistic Nurses as needed
8.Works under the supervision ofmore experienced lab/diagnostic team members and/or patient-facing team members
9.Responsible for accurately and responsively performingroutine assigned clinical tasks of limited complexity
10.Follows standard practices and procedures designed by theclinical department or unit

Job Qualification
1.High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
2.Certified as a Reiki Level II practitioner
3.A minimum of one year of Reiki practice experience preferred
4.Active listening skills and strong knowledge of Reiki modality procedures
5.Strong interpersonal skills, empathetic, patient, calm, non-judgmental demeanor
6.Compliance with all applicable infection prevention protocols
7.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and sound judgment as to when to escalate a situation
