Description

Health Aides work under the direct supervision of the Health and Nutrition Manager to support the health and well-being of enrolled children and pregnant women. Key responsibilities include:

Requesting and managing health records for enrolled children and pregnant women. Entering and maintaining up-to-date data in the tracking system, including records related to well-child care visits, immunizations, hearing, vision, nutrition, oral/dental health, and ongoing specialized healthcare needs. Retrieving immunization records for enrolled children and those on the waiting list from the California Immunization Registry (CAIR) while adhering to strict confidentiality policies. Assisting parents in obtaining electronic immunization cards. Collaborating with parents to gather health status information for their children and facilitating follow-up healthcare appointments. Providing health education and training to program participants.

This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Effective communication and a commitment to supporting families in achieving positive health outcomes are essential.

Salary Range: $26.10 – 49.38 Hourly
