We will rely on you to:
Identify business opportunities from client portfolio and your own network
Provide a service compliant with all procedures and Mercer Code of Professional Conduct and the FCA
Participate in appropriate internal forums
Maintain required industry and technical knowledge
Work with support team assigned to ensure the delivery of services to each client in line with Mercer standards
Compliance with Mercer and MMB systems
Manage client projects to successful conclusion
Compliance with sales process and tools
Where a Key Account is owned by a consultant, the consultant must adhere to all the protocols and goals as set out for the Key Accounts team
Retain and develop profitable client portfolio to include new clients/service lines
Build relationships with key decision makers
Win new mandates
Take overall responsibility for the delivery to the client of the agreed services
Consult with client to agree and document needs and objectives and ensure delivery of these objectives
Hold periodic review meetings with client
Client action planning in conjunction with client team
Manage insurer meetings with clients
Ensure all clients have compliant engagement documentation, in line with agreed process
Agree and monitor client fee and service specifications to ensure continued profitability
Own personal and client financial targets
Maintain technical knowledge to the required standard
Work with client team to deliver a profitable seamless service
What you need to have:
Financial and Commercial acumen (including fee negotiation skills)
Related business experience
Achievement orientated
Consulting and relationship management skills
Technical, product and process knowledge
In depth Healthcare and Group Risk knowledge is essential
Inter-personal, communication and time management skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
